7am wake up for an 8am breakfast this morning because we were not about to miss the 9:04am train to the famous city of Nuremberg.
I hope you’re all in for a long two posts, because I’m about to cover two full days of absolute awesome (except for the last part, but we’ll get to that.)
Today. Has. Been. The. Longest. Day. Of. My. Life.
Not at all a bad thing, however, because in the end of it all, I got to look at this:
(Picture by me, will be a separate picture post later.)
Flight takes off in 5 hours. HEEHOO.
I’ll be in Dusseldorf at 9:10am (German time) and then after a connect flight, Munich at 12:10pm.
Feeling a bit like Spongebob running around and singing I’m ready I’m ready IIIIIIIIIII’m ready!!
Peace, Love, and Schnitzel
So, I forgot to take a picture of the war room this was before, but I would call this clean in comparison.
Note the scale. Lufthansa’s wait limit is killing me, bro.
Almost ready, though! I depart from my house at 1400 hours. Girding my loins. Europe, here I come!!
T-minus 2 days and 6 hours before my flight to Munich takes off and packing has become a mission. I don’t know where to even begin. (Not that I haven’t begun, it just hasn’t seem to have gone anywhere.) The weather in Salzburg (and Munich for that matter) is going to be cold when I get there and warm as the summer progresses. And to top it off, I need casual clothing for travel and business clothing for work. So, basically, I need everything and can only pack the next three months into one sad little suitcase.
The only thing I’ve figured out thus far is shoes, and even then, depending on how much clothing I end up with I might have to remove a pair or two.
I’ll tell you this much, Salzburg and Munich better expect a girl ready to shop because I’m going to need more outfits than I’m bringing. :P
Picture evidence of the disaster zone that is my house will follow soon.
